Pricing Guidelines
The Countrypolitan Mercantile specializes in custom artistic flowers and decor. Your flowers are thoughtfully selected and designed around your individual style. As such, we do not use a template for pricing. Prices are determined on a case-by-case basis in the form of a design proposal, presented after an in-depth consultation. Location, venue, size, theme, floral and plant materials, and budget are details that are considered. Most of our glass and containers are offered for rental only, making events more affordable to the client while being good stewarts of the environment.
Consultation Process
1. Please call 540.743.6845 or e-mail us to set-up an appointment for your preliminary consultation with Melissa Riley or Kevin Boyd.
2. Please fill out and submit our pre-consultation form below. This will help us prepare for your consultation. Preliminary consultations are complimentary and can last from 1 to 2 hours.
3. If available, please bring the following items with you to the consultation (if you are not sure of your color scheme or your decor style, don’t worry – we’ll help you figure it out)
Pictures of images that inspire you (these don’t have to be floral designs - any inspirational images that speak to your style are helpful)
Invitations
Pictures of the bride’s dress and attendants’ dresses. Swatches of the colors you are working with to build your wedding’s theme.
Your fiance, a friend, or a family member to assist you in the decision-making process
4. We will email you with a proposal for your wedding after an in person consultation.
5. Because we book minimal weddings per weekend, our calendar fills quickly. For this reason, we request a $250 non-refundable deposit to book your date. All dates are reserved on a first come first book basis.
6. A Final Consultation prior to your wedding is required. (usually scheduled 7-14 days before your wedding) We contact you to make any adjustments to your order. The delivery time line will be finalized at this time. Final payment on the balance is due 2 weeks prior to the event.
